Q. What is Softroci®?
A. Softroc is rubberized safety surfacing, which is applied to indoor and outdoor wet deck areas.
Q. How is it installed?
A. Certified, trained installers apply Softroc . There are usually two installers and one mixer on site depending on the size of the installation. The rubber granules arrive in bags and the resin in buckets. It is then mixed and trowelled on site to the specifications of the client.
Q. Who uses Softroc surfacing?
A. Softroc is used on any surface that needs a permanent, non-slip, resilient surface. softroc creates a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing surface for any wet deck.
Q. Will the color fade?
A. Softroc rubber safety surfacing is UV stable and is highly used in Australia which is one of the harshest environments for ultra violet light.
Q. What colors are available?
A. There are over 24 colors. Softroc has standard rubber surfacing colours for your convenience, however, custom mixes are also available.
Q. What is the warranty?
A. Softroc Dealers offer a limited warranty on the product and installation, is up to them to specify the amount of time the installation/product is warranted till.
Q. Is the sub-base standard washed rock typical of other pervious paving systems?
A. Yes. Compacted clean #57 stone used with woven and non-woven geo textiles.
Q. Can you install yourself?
A. Softroc is not a DIY product as it is fairly systematic. However, if you decide to become an Authorized softroc Dealer, we have extremely comprehensive training on the installation of the product.
